My name is Lewis D. Mann, and I’m the owner of True Built Home. By 2008, I had spent a decade making contributions to several of the leading on-your-lot builders in the Pacific Northwest. And that’s when I decided to take my knowledge of how to deliver a quality home on a budget, build sustaining relationships with my customers, and support the success of my team members, and I started True Built Home.

My experience in real estate and construction has put me in an advantaged position to survey the competitive landscape and recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the outfits that are building in the area. Some companies are just plain inflexible and not willing to deliver what customers want; some are flexible but it comes at the cost of broken promises - project delays and complexity. Having seen these scenarios repeatedly has taught and reinforced to me a couple of life’s important lessons: if it sounds too good to be true, it is. The other is that you generally get what you pay for; when a company prices homes at really cheap prices, it really is a cheap home.

I am constantly looking at ways to make True Built the most competitively priced, honest and customer-focused, and easy to work with residential on-your-lot home builder available. For as long as we maintain that the customer is the most important piece of the puzzle, we feel confident that True Built Home will sustain our early growth pattern and long-term success.
